    Άλλο metal άλλο gothic....μιλάμε για δύο σχεδόν άσχετα μεταξύ τους είδη...
    Αν και Evanescence δεν υφίσταται gothic....υφίσταται ποζέρια της gothic που ισούνται με hard rock.
    Anyhow το θέμα είναι άκυρο θεωρώ ούτως ή άλλως.

    Βασικά, το Gothic είναι ένα κίνημα. Σαν μουσική υπάρχει ως Gothic metal και Gothic rock. Όταν μιλάμε για Gothic Music εννοούμε τα δύο αυτά είδη μαζί.

    Και οι Evanescence όντως δεν είναι Gothic. Η μουσική που παίζουν είναι Alternative Rock, Hard Rock. Αν και αρκετές φορές έχουν χαρακτηριστεί ως Gothic. =/ Μπορεί να έχουν κάποιες πινελιές αλλά, καμία σχέση κατά την γνώμη μου.

    Το gothic δεν είναι κίνημα. Ούτε τρόπος επανάστασης. Είναι τρόπος σκέψης, ζωής και ιδεολογία.
    Σαν μουσική δεν υπάρχει μόνο ως gothic meta/rock. Aπλά ξεκίνησε έτσι. Υπάρχει και horror gothic, και ethairial gothic και το απλό gothic.

    Οι Evanescence δεν είναι gothic *faints* Για να μην επαναλαμβανόμαστε, καλά τα λέει η από πάνω.
    Gothic είναι οι Paradise Lost, οι Amorphis, οι Sopor Aeternus, οι Bauhaus. Και ναι, εννοείται πως μ' αρέσει το είδος!

    Αγαπημένα συγκριτήματα του είδους Τheatre of Tragedy και Tristania και λιγότερο οι Lacuna Coil (αν κι έχω κάποιες αμφιβολίες) και Moonspell.
    Kι εννοείται πως οι Evanescence δεν είναι γκόθικ, όπως επίσης δεν είναι ούτε οι Nightwish κι οι Epica και άλλα symphonic metal συγκροτήματα που συχνά αναφέρονται ως γκόθικ. Ανήκουν σ'άλλο μουσικό είδος, με αρκετά κοινά στοιχεία με την γκόθικ μουσική, εξίσου αξιόλογο θα 'λεγα, χωρίς όμως να αποτελεί ούτε στάση ζωής ούτε ιδεολογία...
